Desperate Mommy

Does it need any further explanation?

Kallie's 1st Slumber Party!

Kallie's little friend Ansley was having her birthday party at the same exact time as Seth's last t-ball game. Ansley really wanted Kallie to come, but they live in Keller, which is 45 minutes away. So we decided to let Kallie spend the night & I went to get her after the t-ball game & after the party. She was such a big girl! She had a great time.

I think she just enjoyed getting to be with girls. She's always surrounded by stinky boys!

Ansley had a puppy dog party.

Ansley's mom put their hair up in pigtails to look like puppy dog ears.

Last T-Ball Game

The last game almost didn't happen. Pretty much all of our team was there, but only 4 kids showed up on the other team. The umpire was going to call it, but little boys started crying that they weren't going to get to play, so we ended up sending some of our boys over to the other team...and the game went on. Seth and his buddy Ethan volunteered to go to the other side.

Here's the crew...

I don't know much about baseball, but that looks like a pretty good swing!

Last huddle with Coach Shane...GO RIVERDOGS!

We had the end-of-the-season party at the church. Luke enjoyed the pizza & cupcakes.

I think Seth wore his medal for 2 days afterwards...

Graduation Day

Seth's kindergarten graduation came fast for all of us! I can't believe the year is over. Here's a picture of him in his classroom before the graduation.

This was the moment in the service that I lost it. I'm not a crier, but they started singing this sweet little 'thank you Mom' song and doing the motions to it...I wish you could have heard their little voices. It was SO sweet. And come on, how cute are those half-robes?

Getting his diploma...

Seth's teacher was Mrs. McKee. She was the sweetest teacher ever & such a blessing to Seth.

Kallie's First Real Haircut

Maybe it's something in our water, but the kids in this house just don't grow much hair! FINALLY, it was time for Kallie to get her first haircut. I had tried to prepare her for it for a few weeks, but everytime I would mention it tears would shortly follow. Finally, the day before our appointment I asked her about it again. This time she was bawling that she didn't want a haircut. I finally told her that if she would come with me I'd take her to the dollar store afterwards to buy a toy. She agreed (through the tears), but a few minutes later she came up to me and said, "Mommy, so I'm gone get my hair cut like Seth's?" Poor baby, the only person she'd ever seen get a haircut was Seth, so she naturally assumed it would be as short as his. Once I explained to her how girls get their hair trimmed she was fine with it.

Our little climber...

Luke has decided he's not afraid to climb. Up until now, he would climb up on something & then just sit there crying & crying until you came to get him down. Not anymore. Last week he was playing all around downstairs and I turned around to see where he was and couldn't find him. After looking in all of his regular spots, I found that he had climbed ALL the way up our stairs. He was sitting at the top throwing balls down the stairs. Wish I could have gotten a picture of that, but you should have seen how fast I danced up those stairs!! The gate stays shut now.

What it's like at the park for the siblings...

Kallie has so much fun at the ballpark. She usually ends up in the dirt & the grass with her friends...

Here's Luke with his buddy Noah. They were just chillin' in their strollers eating goldfish & french fries. They were lucky...they had shade!
This picture makes me laugh. Kallie's the one in the chair under the blue umbrella. Do I know that family? No. Were they on our team? No. Do I know the nice man who's holding the umbrella for her? No. Is Kallie afraid of strangers? No.

Here she is sitting in the chair giggling with the little girl who actually belongs there...

Kindergarten Luau & Science Fair

Seth had a luau at school on Friday. They're having all kinds of fun end-of-the-year stuff these last 2 weeks. Kallie, Luke & I dropped in for a little while.

eating lunch with his friends...

...sure glad he likes his stroller (he's there alot!)

...in line for the limbo...

Thursday was the kindergarten science fair. The suggested science projects for Seth's age were things like a bug collection, shell collection, rock collection, etc. Not Seth! He and Daddy built the mega double ant farm complete with tunnels and everything. This thing was huge!

Kallie followed me through the school with her stroller and her baby. It was cute. Not sure why she's pouty in this picture...

Seth loved everyone looking at his project...

In the stroller again...

More Birthday Fun!

The Cuppett's came over on Saturday night for a little party for Luke! Here's a few pictures of him opening his presents...

He already had his birthday cake on his actual birthday, so we just gave him a little cupcake...

I'll skip all the pictures in the middle & just show you the end result...

Luke is ONE!

Yep, he enjoyed it.
We knew he would!

He probably would've gotten messier, but we got interrupted by the tornado sirens. Watching him enjoy that cake just made us think back to Seth & Kallie...Seth wouldn't TOUCH his cake, he hated it! And Kallie definitely enjoyed hers, but in a girlie way...let's just say she wasn't this messy! Luke is all boy.
